Bio Beads – Bacteria House is an innovative and patented design with a hollow center, providing deep anaerobic zones for denitrification. It more effectively reduces nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia without harming the environment. It is composed of inert, pearl-shaped ceramic. Its unrivaled format with a very large surface area provides a giant structure to ensure optimal bacterial colonization (aerobic and anaerobic) and delay pore clogging (allowing for significantly longer intervals between cleanings). The hollow cavity creates an ion concentration difference to actively absorb NH4+ and NO2+. Due to the high bacterial concentration, peak ammonia and nitrite loads are more easily reduced. Bio Beads biofiltration media is suitable for freshwater, seawater, and ponds and is reusable. The media is rich in trace elements, improving the metabolism of aquatic organisms and accelerating growth and biological body structure.
